We build things. Some of it becomes product, some stays internal, and some exists only to answer a question properly. What we build.
Investment
We put our own capital into technology companies. We are not a fund, we do not raise from outside investors, and we do not run a portfolio to anyone else’s timetable. How we invest.
Advisory
We work with a small number of founders on the technical decisions that are expensive to get wrong. How we work with founders.
We work quietly and over long horizons. We do not publish a thesis, we do not run a deal pipeline, and we are not trying to see everything. We would rather understand a small number of things properly than hold an opinion on all of them.
We are technical people. When we look at a company we read the code and talk to the engineers, and we would rather be told what is broken than what is planned. That preference is the whole method, and most of what follows on this site is a consequence of it.
